Tai Chi QiGong Shibashi

Tai Chi QiGong Shibashi is a gentle form suited to all abilities that is easy to learn and follow and can help with balance, stability and flexibility along with calm, refreshing relaxation.

In the class I will provide guided instruction of individual moves and take the class through a gentle warm up and a complete Shibashi set of 18 movements flow. Each move is repeated, easy to learn, and with full adaptations available for everyone.

This class is ideal if you:

  • want an easy and gentle introduction or return to exercise

  • have limited mobility and want exercise that is adaptable to you*

  • are already active and want to build some flexibility and stability work into your routine.

*Including optional seated adaptations.

Zumba Gold

Join me for a fun and informal cardio workout designed specifically for older adults who want to maintain or return to fitness. I run a medium intensity Zumba Gold class, with easy to follow steps, that you can bounce up or step down to suit your own level and preference.

Don't worry about your previous experience or ability, just turn up, have fun, and as long as you generally go in the right direction you'll be doing just fine.

This class is suitable if you:

  • are looking for an active class that's not too complicated

  • Want a cardio workout that you can tailor to suit you

Class will include warm up and cool down and a mix of rhythms and speeds in between to get us active without getting us too exhausted.
